Jem Frantz, AICPJem Frantz, AICP, moved to Fort Myers in 2001. After attending college in Orlando, they moved back to southwest Florida in 2012.
Jem’s experience of coming out and connecting to the southwest Florida LGBTQ+ community, has taken them beyond their wildest dreams for family, friends, and life experiences and wants everyone in southwest Florida’s LGBTQ+ community to find their “beyond” too. They are an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and work to continue southwest Florida’s progress to becoming a beacon of trans and queer excellence. Jem has worked in both the public and private sectors as an urban planner for the last ten years with experience in land development, local government, legislative drafting, community development and planning. Jem identifies as trans and non-binary and is a parent to one amazing teenager and many dying plants. |
